September Ministry Recap

Wow!  It’s been a busy month.  Sorry for being “absent” from the blog for the last few weeks.  Let me catch you up to date.

September started in Logan, WV with Pastors Mike & Darlene Hartwell.  Family Worship Center is located in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia make Logan a gorgeous place to be this time of year.  Wonderful people with a heart for God were faithful each morning and night to the revival.  I guess it’s fair to say, “There’s nothing like a revival in West Virginia!”  Each night we were treated to “Hands of God’s Servants” ministering in dance and mime.  Anointing was so strong on these young people that you would have had to be there to experience the atmosphere.  You were powerful every service!  No way to keep track of the number of folks baptized in water during this meeting.  Oh yes, by the way, have you ever heard of a “cathead” biscuit?  Well, I had heard of them, but it still didn’t stop me from having a couple during the week as the ladies of the church provided an unbelievable breakfast in conjunction with the morning services.  Thanks ladies.   Loved it in Logan, WV.

As if that wasn’t enough, the next Sunday found us in Pennsboro, WV.  Man, I didn’t think one state could have such beauty from border to border.  Harvestime Ministries with Senior Pastors John & Linda Kopshina along with Pastors Chad & Heather Kopshina make a powerful team of ministry.  Church in an old opera house, that remains somewhat the same as in years gone by, makes for a powerful setting for God to meet with His people.  Powerful music was evident in each service as the praise and worship team seemed to outdo themselves each service. We gathered  Harvestime Ministries is a church with influence in their city.  Several city buildings are getting a face lift through the additional construction talents of Pastor John.  God is breaking out in the city.  Oh yes, if you’re ever in Pennsboro, please take time to stay at the Legacy Hotel and Conference Center which is owned and operated by the church.  This is another building Pastor John turned into a beautiful landmark.  Time spent in Pennsboro, WV was valuable and the hospitality was tremendous each day of our stay.  Thanks, Harvestime, we loved it all!
